Making ceramic tiles using a stencil.
Custom stencils for ceramics are a great way to go and there are a lot of different ways to use them.
I used 3 stencils to help the project go a little faster.
For long lasting designs use an oil based or urethane resin containing paint.
I want to paint and stencil the whole area to one finish to tie the two spaces together and lose the visual division.
I chose to fold mine incase i decide to use the stencil again.
Repeat this step until the entire tile floor is stenciled.
To finish stenciling the areas near a wall make sure to protect and mask off the wall or baseboard with painter s tape.

Once you have painted all of the full size tiles you will need to fold or cut your stencil to get the rest of the areas.
If you start to get paint build up on the stencil you can wipe it off with a wet rag.
Use different tile stencils for each floor tile.
Whether you use a random or preset order the choice is yours.
